I am wondering if it would be viable and beneficial to take out a heloc to BRRRR other properties. I have this house almost paid off and would like to use some of that equity for other deals. Would I be able to take out a heloc to do buy the other property and then when i get to the refinance stage of the new BRRRR and pull out the 70-80% equity can I then pay off the heloc completely and start looking for another deal to BRRRR. Also is there a minimum amount you have to pull out of a home for a heloc?

I am interested in becoming an apartment syndicator and I am wondering if I should get a mentor to help me through the process and making connections with team members. I have heard it can be done without the mentor but I'm looking for more opinions from active syndicators and to find out how they got started.

I would be looking for a short term acquisition and reno loan to fix up the property and then would like to turn that into long term conventional financing. The building is going for around 500k and needs about 100k in work.

Hey Matt,

My name is Ryan and I am a contractor/house flipper from new york. I think I would be able to help you with the operations side of things and finding ways to force appreciation on the buildings. Are you trying to form a syndication team? Also what markets are you looking to start finding buildings in?
