I have a duplex, my only property thus far. It is under my name and I am managing it. I would like to expand and I know at some point I will have to set up an LLC. I am facing a huge expense on my property so I was wondering if I should set up the LLC now and start building the LLC credit? I have the funds to pay for this (the capital expenditure and the LLC costs) outright now but I am just thinking for the future. Eventually I want to buy properties under the LLC.

@Jose Flores,

Thank you for your insight. I will use this advice as my litmus test before I decide.

Yaroslav Golubev Thank for asking that question, I was wondering that myself. Wholesaling is also something I had thought about but was never interested in it until Stephen Anderson explained.

Andrew Edwards Yeah Andrew, the struggle is real. I was under the impression that the higher my degree and greater expertise I would make more and the wealthier I would be. I do make more now but I am also taxed a crap-ton and have a HUGE (say it in the Trump voice) student debt. So now I know that this is bkt the way to build wealth. This must be why Kiosaki's teachings have resonated with me. Your also right, BP is an amazing community. I never thought that I would have so many responses from my introduction. You guys are amazing.
