Airbnb Jumbo Loan!?

I'm looking at a $900k Airbnb property that will have around a 58% ROI.

I have enough for 10% down, only problem is I just got out of school and my income for 2020 is about $0 (invested all my earnings back into my business)

And in 2021 my income will be around $234k.

Odds of getting approved for this big of a loan? Often times they need 2 years worth of tax returns.

Are there any workarounds? Bringing in a co-signer/guarantor?

I’m looking for land to build multiple tiny homes/unique spaces.

Where does one start?

I need some realtors to help locate land anywhere in the US.

Outskirts of town, cool, outdoorsy style stuff.

I have investors that want to develop these structures and then my company will manage them as short-term rentals.

@Wayne Brooks

I run my business remotely, so I would be living in CA full time and traveling back to WA periodically. How would that work?

@Nathan Smith

I just graduated college with a business degree. Instantly started my own business and am now investing in real estate.

College was a waste of 4 years from a business/investment standpoint.

A handful of super meaningful relationships, memories, and life experience is what I took away from it.

But that’s not to say you can’t accumulate those experiences by not going to college!

@Benjamin Sussman

I’d change it to a ROTH and just put aside about $500/month if at all possible.

It will compound to a nice little safety cushion later on in life if RE suddenly crashes when you decide to retire

@Boris Mordkovich

This is awesome Boris!

Appreciate you sharing this, I manage 14 properties in my market, just curious:

Where did you find/source the remote VA's your referring to?

I'm currently a resident of Washington state and would like to keep it that way in order to avoid state income tax. I'm looking to buy a four Plex in California with an FHA 3.5% down. I know you have to live in the property as your primary residence for at least a year, but can I get approved for an FHA loan in California if I'm a Washington resident? Or do I need to get a California license and residency first?

Thanks!

@Ben Zelenka

Checkout Yotta savings, it’s a pretty cool business model (look at YouTube reviews)

Or if you don’t need the cash in the next 5-10 years: a low fee index fund
