@Julien Amparan Probably not. Waiting for the market to crash is very time inefficient and would likely result in you saying “It’s too risky to invest now” once it actually happens. There is no correct time to get into real estate so just set down down criteria and jump in!

@Sean Sloop Appreciate it! I should have enough capital to get started with BRRRR by the end of this year.

@Drew Sygit I'm pretty sure I have enough capital to perform a BRRRR but not sure if I should use hard money or try to get a property under value enough so I could finance the purchase and rehab with my own money.

I'm relatively new to the idea of investing in real estate because I'm going to be the first in my family to choose this path over the traditional factory 9-5 job. I have spent the last 3 months reading and listening to the bigger pockets podcast, I will be purchasing income producing multi family properties and ideally would like to take advantage of the BRRRR method. I am also very young and staying in the area for my first year of college and would be willing to volunteer my time or work for anyone that is already in the field.I am looking for other investors in the area, so if you are an investor, property manager, agent/broker, contractor, etc. in southeastern Michigan please reach out!
