Welcome, what areas are you looking at?  I am an investor and an agent!  We should look to connect.  Shoot me a message.  Zillow isn't always the best place to find active listings.  I am 2 years into my Real Estate journey and would love to have a partner that wants to house hack!!

keep learning and make sure you konw your plan and you wont fail.

This is actually what I am currently planning on moving towards, unfortunately what I'm finding on sites like Zillow or Trulia do not meet my search for 3-4 unit multifamily. I'm actually going to meet with a local agent in the area to hopefully get a relationship going and find better deals to move forward with. I'm very serious and I'm glad you mentioned this because I agree that I'll never learn what RE investing truly is until I've tried it myself. Thank you so much for the guidance I do appreciate it!

First-time poster here in BP, Long time listener and fan.  I am set to close on a condo (Co-op) in Detroit in the 1300 Layfette building.  Pumped to do this flip I have the blueprint, ( a friend did the same exact thing 10 floors down and I have all his notes)  I am looking for a contractor or someone who has experienced so I can hire them and work with them to learn as I go.  I am a Northwestern University Grad (so I can learn very quick) and an Olympic Wrestler (construction work is not hard to me)  Just looking to build a team so I can run and do more of these, as I also now have my Real Estate License.  I want to get to do bigger and bigger deals, but I still need my reps to learn this business.  Anyone who has experience in Demo and rehab or rebuilds please get a hold of me.  1 bed 1 bath, Kitchen, bath needs to be redone, rip up the carpet and put down a floating floor.  Get at me Detroit!!

Love reading this.. I am just starting off.. Own my first home outright in Birmingham and I am looking forward to investing in Detroit.. the more I look around the more I see it has a bit of everything from super cheap buy and rent's to super expensive depending on what part of metro Detroit you are looking in.   I am leaning more toward doing some development or getting a 6 unit plus multi family vs just having 15 single family turn key.

Where would you put your money at this time?

Do you want to get all 7, or can you just ask to get the top 5 performing properties in the portfolio ?  There are great way's of setting yourself up to ask for that and pick out the best 3-5 you are interested in getting
