Hello, thanks for letting me know, I took a free course and I learnt a lot and started calling and trying to close a deal, but I still felt like I need more guidance and a more structured program or a community that can help me. How did you learn how to wholesale?

Hey guys, I am thinking of joining Jamil damji's astro flipping wholesaling course, if anyone joined it in the past or has some advice about it, it would be great. Let me know if the price Is worth it.

Thank you

And can you guys recommend me on how to get into the wholesaling game and how to learn (Books, courses, etc....)

My current plan is to use my capital and hard/private lenders. If everything works out as planned, I'll be able to make enough as an agent to help fund my investing as well.

I've also got a fantastic mentor helping me along the way. I can't say enough good things about his support and how game-changing it is to find a great mentor.

Perfect, I hope it workouts man, best of luck!

@Jad Rahouly Are you already educated in the aspects of investing?  That's the real first step. Maybe find a local mentor or pay for a coaching program. My advice is no to wholesaling as a first step - it's much harder than you think. No to flipping as this is the hardest and finding deals near SF will be near impossible.  The strategy should be rental properties that will pay now and later, but you need to educated beyond reading posts. If that's a bit harsh, then congratulations you just had your first mentoring moment.

Hey Tim, thanks for the advice first of all, I am educated a bit about investing, its the area I know the most in real estate. I agree, a coaching program would help a lot, do you recommend any specific ones.

Hey Jad, I'm just starting my journey as an investor as well. I've decided to go the BRRRR route while also trying to obtain my real estate license. Come find me in 6 months to see if this was a good idea, lol.

What helped me decide what I wanted to do was reading some of the books on BiggerPockets. There are quite a few that can give you a broad overview of many different strategies and the pros/cons of each.

How to Invest in Real Estate

Rental Property Investing

Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat (BRRRR)

I agree with @Tim Ryan completely. Wholesaling is marketed to new investors as a way to start without much capital, but the effort and skill required felt like too high a bar for me right out of the gate.

hey, thanks for the advice, yes I started reading the book on real estate investing right now and im looking to keep reading more. Yes I read about the BRRRR strategy, are you going to do using your own money or how?

Hey, if there are any good real estate investors who can answer my question it would be great. So I'm 20 years old and Im learning about the real estate investing business but i don't know if I should dive straight to investing or if I should do fix and flip first or maybe wholesaling and then start investing?

What's up Jad, I'm 24 and a broker based in Sacramento. I own 7 and manage 100+ doors, primarily STR/MTR.

Love working with young people, please reach out and we'll talk. Great to see you getting into this space so early.

Oh amazing, i definitely will!
