Hey Everyone from BiggerPockets!

I’m very excited about getting started in real estate which is why I would like to be an assistant for an agent or investor in the Charlotte area—just looking to gain some knowledge. I’m very hardworking and like to get things done! So if you’re looking for an assistant or know anyone else who is please reach out.

Hey Jacqueline, welcome to the BP Community. It's great that you are getting ready to start your real estate journey and I think that looking to find a mentor who is doing what you want to do is one of the best paths to take. It would be better if you could be more specific in how you can add value to that person. What are your strengths? For example are you experienced in social media marketing? Could you offer a mentor some tips? This way its not just a one way street.

Thank you so much for the reply. how I am planning to contribute and help out as an assistant are examples like making follow calls, coordinating showings, and being able to look for off-market deals for an investor, etc. lists goes on, and to answer your question some of my strengths are: patientness, hardworking, and trustworthiness.

Hi Jacqueline,

Welcome to BiggerPockets!

That is a big step in the right direction when it comes to learning more about real estate.

Don't necessarily need an assistant but I can be a mentor and help when I can and provide knowledge.

@Jacqueline F. welcome to BP forums. Starting as an assistant is a great way to get into real estate. If you're not already licensed in NC, this is the first step to finding an assistance job; the second is your social media FB & linked-in so the more people you connect with in the RE industry in CLT so easier it gets.  Look for closing coordinator jobs on Glassdoor or indeed.

Wishing you success on your Rael Estate journey in Charlotte! CLT is a great place to to RE business

Thank you so much for your reply! Will definitely try it!

What are you offering?

So what I'm offering as an assistant would be examples like coordinating showings, making follow-up calls, assisting at an open house, or maybe looking for off-market deals for investors who may be interested in buying the list can go on.

I'm currently new to real estate & was wondering if anyone was looking for a real estate assistant in the charlotte area.I'm a fast learner and would love to own my own rental properties in the future.

Hey, I wanted to know when will your next meeting be so I can attend. will it be the 23rd of may on Monday ? would really love to attend to gain some information. I am currently a newbie and would really love to get some more knowledge.

I completely agree with you! you couldn't have said it better thank you! @Jared Hottle

Hello, I'm Jacky I'm new to real estate investing and was wondering if I could get some mentorship or someone that can help me out on my first deal (in the Charlotte area) or partner up with. I'm in the process of analyzing a property to see if it will produce a good cash flow. if I could get any advice or tips on how to start I would love to hear them!

thank you!
