I am newer to real estate investing and recently purchased my first property. I'm looking to join REI meet-up groups to continue learning from other investors and network with like-minded people. I currently live in Austin, TX but am open to REI groups out of state as well, it's always beneficial to learn about strategies in other markets.

Hello BP Community,

I recently purchased my first property and was planning to use Cozy for property management but noticed they have been acquired by Apartments.com. Does anyone have experience/feedback using Cozy through the Apartments.com platform? I'd like to determine if I should move forward with Apartments.com or look into other property management software options. What are your thoughts? Alternative recommendations welcome.

Officially a real estate investor! I found the BP podcast in May of this year and began binging every episode, reading BP books/blogs, and learning from others' experiences. I took action and began the search in July and purchased a duplex in North Austin for my first property! I will be house hacking the first year, then move on to the next investment and rent out both sides. So much more to learn and I look forward to continuing to educate myself through all of you and the endless resources BP provides. The journey has just begun! #REI #financialfreedom
