I'm currently in the Dothan, AL area but unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to this meetup because I am working the night of the 23rd. However, I am extremely interested in networking and meeting other investors. Does anyone ever do online meetups? I'm not sure if this has been done before. Regardless, I'm certainly interested in meeting others in the group even though I won't be able to make this particular meetup.

I don't want to hijack this thread but it seems that it may have died and certainly relates to my situation as well. I'm also very interested in Orlando area investing, specifically looking to invest in SFH rental properties and possibly conduct some BRRRR deals. I'm currently stationed on Oahu, HI so this will obviously be an out of state investment; my first investment to be more exact. I am looking for very similar properties as @Lorne Bridgford but am always open to suggestions if this may not be the best strategy in the current market. 

However, based on research of the area and how rapidly it is growing, expected to grow, etc., this look like a great area for long-term investments like a rental property. I am curious if anyone has experience conducting BRRRR deals out of state without ever physically walking in the property. Thanks in advance.
