Hi everyone,

My name is Jacob Banner. I'm a 23 year old San Diego coast local. I'm trying to connect with others that are investing in the San Diego area. I am interested in short term rentals and multifamily. Feel free to shoot me a message if you want to connect!

Hi everyone! I am looking for up and coming counties that are seeing or potentially going to see a lot of traction in the coming months/years. Preferably somewhere with trees/mountains/water, but not in the middle of nowhere. Let me know if you know of anywhere!

@Benjamin I Singer I just moved to Napa and am 22 years old. I am also looking to get started in real estate investing, so if you would ever want to connect let me know!

Hi everyone,

I am preparing to invest in real estate in the next year and am going to start finding a small team in my area. My first investment is going to be a multifamily rental, so I can utilize the whole strategy of getting an FHA loan, living in part of the rental, while I rent out the rest during the year I need to live in it.

I think the two biggest members I am going to need to get started are going to be a lender and an agent. Does anyone have any suggestions in finding an agent that will be motivated and a lender that will lend :) ? I currently live in Napa, CA, so if anyone has a contact around there that would be great!

Thanks!

Hi all,

I just graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and am moving up to Napa, CA for a job I accepted. I am interested in real estate investing and am trying to connect to those in the Napa, CA region. Please reach out to me if you or anyone you know has connections in that area and would want to meet up! Thanks!

Hey everyone, I just started listening to the BiggerPockets podcast and it has me hooked onto real estate as being a driving vehicle for my future financial freedom. I have dabbled in long term stocks the past 2 years, but have come to realize that my goals align more with real estate. So I am starting a job in a couple weeks, where I am planning on saving about 80% of my income after taxes. I have a couple questions for those that might have been in my position or have experience.

First, I am big into reading, and was wondering if you had any book recommendations for me based around real estate. In the next couple years I want to read and learn as much as I can, so when I have the available money, I am able to execute accordingly. I am planning on diving into the BiggerPockets tools, but was wondering in terms of a physical book(s) or other resources.

Second, I'm sure I will figure this out as I learn more, but what is the best type of real estate to invest in while working a full time job and have a decent amount of cash on hand? It seems like large apartment complexes, with many doors, is the best way to go in the long term, but having that large of capital is something I won't have to start with.

Lastly, I will be moving up to Napa, CA. So if any of you are near by and would want to connect in the future, I would be ecstatic! Or if you know of any real estate groups/clubs in that area, please reach out.

Cheers,

Jacob
