@Justin Pilotte That makes sense, I love the idea of the generated cash flow from them, but if I can get a good deal on a house that's similar in price to the mobile homes (already found a few), I think it would be worth it to invest in the house as opposed to the mobile home because of the lack of increase in value.

@Tarik Tokar 100-130k so you're right it might not be worth it for that price range, because they won't increase in value.

@Justin Pilotte for sure that would be one of the first questions I would ask before putting in an offer.

@James Sea

I have done a few analyses of properties in the south, they are generally more expensive and newer, and therefore wouldn't be ideal for flipping. I haven't yet found any good deals in these areas. What are you looking to do with the property?

Hi Everyone,

I am just starting off my real estate investing career in Winnipeg, Canada. I've been looking around and have seen a few mobile homes in the area for what seems to be good deals. What is the general consensus for buying and renting out mobile homes? Are there any issues or extra things to worry about when it comes to mobile homes?

Cheers

Jack
