@Adrienne Green. NYC is really tenants friendly I heard lots of stories from landlords having difficulty evicting their tenants. So I prefer to go with landlord friendly state especially I have this small amount of capital to invest for my first rental unit.

I hope this rental unit there is enough cash flow to cover the mortgage loan and some extra cash left every month. Meanwhile it has a little bit of appreciation will be great .

I live in nyc it is really expensive to buy rental unit here. I have 50k and want to get my first rental unit , should I do this in another state?
