Post: Can my SD IRA and I lend to the same borrower?

From everything I've heard, yes. This is called partnering with your self. As long as appropriate percentages are returned to you and your IRA. However, I am not an expert. Talk to the custodian of your SD IRA to be sure. Good luck. BTW I'm assuming the person your lending to is not in your linear family tree. That would be an issue.

But has anyone here ever worked with Nick Vertucci on a personal level, of known someone who has?  Good or Bad experiences are welcomed.

I don't want to hear from anyone saying coaching is ********, or you can do it your self, or anything else.

I'm just looking for people with first or second hand experience with Nick, or his companies.

Please feel free to message me personally if you don't want to feel the wrath of the BP community.

Thanks.

Welcome Kevin, I'm right across the bridge in Oak Point. I'm just getting started as well, and hope to make our first offer in the next 45 days.

Thanks @Joseph Weisenbloom and @Rob Pasche I'll get a pic up when i can find or take a decent one. I'm not sure what my strategy will be yet, but at the beginning I'm thinking lower risk/shorter term options. I have some cash available, but not wanting to risk it all on the first few deals. Gotta figure out how much I don't know first.

I ya'll. New to BP, and to RE investing. I've been working in IT for the last 20 years, and looking for a way to earn a more passive living. By passive, i don't mean without any work/effort, just something different than trading hours for $$. I have never done anything like this, so I'll be spending some time trying to learn before jumping in with both feet. I'd be very happy to talk to anyone in the DFW area that has any advise/pointers for me. At some point I'll probably be looking for a mentor as well.

Thanks for listening.
