Hello Guys,

I currently live in Massachusetts North Shore area. I have been trying to look for any REIA meetings that are currently going on? I know with COVID there has been in person cancellations and the websites for the ones near me aren't really informative if they are still going on?

@Evan Polaski Thank you for the feedback and assistance. We do have a bit saved and I have been using the Biggerpockets calculator to learn more about the challenges and expenses in flipping homes. I have been reaching out to alot of contractors/rehabbers in order to connect with them and see how they go about their projects but i have not gotten a response yet. I will continue to reach out until i hear from one because i am determined to succeed in this market and eventually invest in rental properties which is my end goal. 

Thank you guys. Yes i have been learning alot in the biggerpockets podcasts. And also want to start with flipping homes around my area and eventually invest in rental properties in order to gain that passive income as well.

I am new to the real estate world and have been a long time listener to the BiggerPockets podcasts. My wife and I are expecting our first child this winter and it has put a lot of perspectives in my life on what for my family and child. I'm currently working a 9-5 job which pays the bills and everything but i want more for myself and my family and I'm eager to do whatever it takes to make it happen. I want that financial freedom and have my own company and not have my wife or child worry about anything.  They are my everything and it's time for me to make the steps in becoming successful and providing everything for my wife and child because they deserve nothing but the best in this world. I currently live in Massachusetts and just want any advice on what my next steps should be. Thank you for your time.
