Hi Itamar, I would start looking into areas such as Brighton Heights, Bellevue, Plum, Carnegie, and Baldwin. All have a generally cheap barrier to entry and have potential for cash flow. There are tons of other options and areas, but some are harder to get into and others don't have as good of cash flow. I'm an investor-friendly agent in the Pittsburgh area and would love to connect further!

@Jacob Kocent Thank you so much on your comment, these areas actually look promising. I would love to connect with you and discuss it further. We can also set up a call :)

@Itamar Halevi have you tried looking into an investor friendly agent to help guide you?

@Nicholas Coulter Not yet. I started looking into agents lately, anyone in mind you can suggest?

Hello there,

I am a first time "out of town" investor, looking into Pittsburgh's Metropolitan for my first deal.
I focused mainly on Allegheny county mostly, but having a bit hard time focusing on one specific area.
My strategy is to purchase a property for long term rentals.
I was hoping to get some insights into attractive areas for first timers such as myself, with good prospects and at reasonable costs?
Would love to hear people's thoughts on the matter.

THANK YOU! :)
