Welcome @Michael Fucillo and I hope your investing goes well.

While I am partial to the Toledo, OH market, I believe the Midwest should be the area that you look into.

My suggestion would be to choose a market where you are able to build a solid team. No matter how good a deal is and how great that market is, if you don’t have the right people on the ground, you won’t have a pleasant experience.

The right team will make or break your investment.

If you struggle to find good people, you might want to look into a turnkey provider in a market that interests you the most.

While you might not get the exact returns you’re looking for, a good turnkey provider can provide you with that piece of mind being an OOS investor.

Hey @Poorya K. living in the Toledo area, I tend to stay away from that zip code in east Toledo. @Engelo Rumora and his company Ohio Cashflow petty much own the city when it comes to investment properties. You should check out their website. I’ve worked with them and they’re great.

Hey everyone!

My name is Isaac. I currently reside with my wife in a suburb of Toledo, OH. I grew up in the metro Detroit area. I just recently discovered bigger pockets and am floored by how awesome this website is. My goal is to start generating multiple streams of income. I currently work a full time job and would like to learn as much about real estate investing that I can so that I can purchase my first rental by the end of summer. I don't have a lot of cash on hand so ill be studying low or no money down approach and do my best to implement it. Toledo seems to have tons of potential properties that can I can work with.

Thanks for everything everyone does here. I really appreciate it.

Isaac
