@Chris LumLee That's an excellent idea (shadowing rehab investors). Thank you!

@Lawrence Potts

Thank you. I agree with you about the benefits.

@Patrick Pendley

Thanks for the insight.

I am not in the states. I am currently in Canada.

Sorry I should've clarified this from the beginning.

@Taj Akinbode

Thanks for the reply.

I wanted to learn how to manage other people's properties to gain hands-on experience. I have no intention to delay my first investment property due to this.

However, I also learned that I would not be eligible to obtain the license as I will be foreigner once I move to FL.

Hello,

I started to look into getting the real estate license to have more options (e.g. becoming a property manager to gain experience, access to MLS when investing, etc)

Does anyone have experience with the sites below?

https://www.investopedia.com/b...

I currently live in Canada and plan to go to FL. I don't think I am eligible to obtain the license for FL state while living in Canada.
but I wanted to study in advance to get ahead, before moving to FL.

Do you have any advice for me?

Thanks!

Hello,

For someone completely new to real estate investment, would you recommend getting a Property Management license?
Must someone be licensed to manage properties?
What is the best way to acquire hands-on experience managing properties before making a first investment?

Thanks!

Who decides whom to bring as guests?

and has there been a time you refused to have particular guests on your show?

@John Myers

Thanks for sharing more detailed insights. It seems there is a whole lot of things to study in that field now that I know there are many types of foreclosures with different set of rules by banks.

Congrats on having obtained the license that has served you well in the successful journey!

@John Myers

Thanks for sharing your insights!

It's good to hear you were able to view it in person. How was experience with purchasing other bank owned homes? Thank you!

Congrats on your success!

Can you please describe more what it's like to find a deal through auction? Can you inspect the property at all? If not, how do you mitigate risk buying one that is in rough shape?
