My personal residence is payed off. There is a house that I would like to purchase for 275k. I will be putting 20% down (55k). My new mortgage will b around 1080 on a 30yr fix. I will be renting my current residence for $1600/month. Is this a good way to proceed?

Just downloaded BP app. It's been a long time since I visited site. I remember things like 2% rule. Where can I find property like that? How can I figure out what I can expect to collect in rent for any given property?

Hello, I am new to investing in real estate. I have been doing a lot of research on the subject. One of my goals is to own an income property by June 8 of 2009. Looking forward to meeting experienced investors that are willing to teach.
