I lived in the bronx and I would say some areas are rough. It's a lot of opportunity for cash flow out there because rentals are in high demand. Being the bronx is relatively still somewhat affordable 3 bedroom 1bath rents for 2900 etc. I would suggest areas like Riverdale, Pelham bay park is beautiful and quiet, Parkchester area. Let me know if you need any guidance.
