Post: Listing agent is not responding

Has anyone has been trying to contact a listing agent unsucessfully to make an offer. I have sent text messages, I have called the agent, have sent mail and after almost two week trying to reach the agent, today the agent said that it was going to call me and did not happen, the respond was that he/she was too busy attending other calls to show other properties. Should I contact the seller direct and explain the seller the situation and start negotiating directly with the seller.
