Any recommendations on property rental software? We are doing both short-term and midterm rentals. We will be using Airbnb.com but are looking for another software option for rentals not through their platform. Thank you. :)

I live in the Detroit Michigan area. I recently purchased a home in my name, all cash, that I'm going to Airbnb. This is my first investment property. I want to set things up the right way in regard to tax planning. I am requesting recommendations for a CPA that I can pay for a video of phone consultation to make sure I set things up correctly. Thank you.

I want to follow and say that BP handled this situation in a way that I think was fair and reasonable. Thank you BP, much appreciated.

I just bought my first investment property in my name (all cash) in the Detroit Michigan area. Before I file the home transfer affidavit and submit the shorter rental application with the city and setup utilities, should I setup and use an LLC? How do I transfer the home I purchased with my money to the LLC? Thank you.

I agree. I asked if I could simply upgrade to the ultimate package and I was told no. In all fairness I was told that I could purchase the e-books and audiobooks at a discount, but my reason for purchasing the ultimate package is for all the bonus material, and I wasn't sure if I would have access to that material.

I agree it was my mistake. But it seems like the most reasonable solution would be to just let me pay the difference to upgrade. As you stated, I already have the books. All they have to do is charge me the difference to give me access to the online content. If they insist upon me returning the books, then I think it's reasonable for them to provide a  shipping label. My intent is to pay more money, not get something for free. Ups selling is a standard business model, and it should be made as easy as possible.

I am on my second year as a pro-member. I have purchased several items, always in the ultimate bundle. I recently ordered 4 more items, which I intended to be in the ultimate bundle but made a mistake and ordered two of them in the ebook bundle and two in the paperback bundle. I was issued a refund for the ebook bundles so I can reorder them in the ultimate bundle, so no problems there. But I was told that I have to return the books at my expense to obtain a refund so I can reorder them in the ultimate bundle. This does not seem fair or reasonable to me. I should either be allowed to keep the books I have, or send me a shipping label. Paying to return books at my expense that I am going to reorder in a more expense bundle is not reasonable. I have not been able to resolve this issue with the customer support rep I have been corresponding with through email. I am disappointed that such a simple mistake with such an obvious resolution has not been resolved. Please advise how I can reach a supervisor to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I’m a new property investor, looking for my first project.  Looking for a reliable, old school general contractor to work with.  Any recommendations? Thank you. 🙂

Would love to develop a long-term relationship with someone who can grow with me.
