@Soh Tanaka, Good catch!  My intention is not to hear exactly who is charging what.  A corrected question to my original post would be, "My research shows that most management companies charge a fee of between 8-12% of the rental income.  Generally, what services are included in this fee apart from tenant communication, rent collection, and maintenance coordination? And on a general basis, are local investors satisfied with this structure?"

Hi all! I've just relocated to LA from Amsterdam where I have 3 years of experience running my own property management company. I'm considering opening up a property management company here in LA and am curious as to where I could provide the most value to investors and property owners.

I would love to hear how much your PM is charging and the scope of the services included in that price.  What's the biggest point of improvement?

Would you work with a management company that is priced significantly cheaper?
