We were but because we have not found anything the contract between us is set to expire soon. We will look into the 203k loan and see if its an option for us. Thanks @Justin Frytz

@Justin Frytz
Thanks! I didn't think about getting a property under contract. We would most certainly pay for their time/ an inspection.

We're looking for a single-family, around the 400k price range max, and looking to do FHA financing. We don't necessarily want a fixer-upper, we are just realizing that most of the houses in our price range require some work to get them to where we would like them.

Hello all,

My wife and I are currently seeking to buy a home in the Stamford area, should we bring a  general contractor when looking at potential homes?

Looking forward to the event tonight.

Hi, Pretty New REI, but have been Educating myself a lot, Currently Living in NYC but GREW up in the POCONOS, SOLD TIMESHARE and worked in the Hospitality industry for some quite some time growing up. I was curious as I have some buddies who are committed to to investing with me in the area. As well as I know some Real Estate Agents as well. Has anyone had any Success wholesaling in the Poconos or are People looking to turn Single family homes into Vacation Rentals? Just curious I know the Market is Ideal for Vacational/AIRBNB etc so I know its very possible but just wondering what some peoples success or more importantly their Failures were.
