Hey BP gang, I am a US Citizen who is looking to invest in EU property. Specifically I am interested in STR/ Vacation rentals in Europe. I know the tax benefits that US RE investors can take advantage of when investing locally when investing in STRs specifically using Reg. Section 1.469-1T(e)(3)(ii)(A), to reduce taxes directly from my w2 income, since running an STR is considered "active income"

1- Am I able to use  Reg. Section 1.469-1T(e)(3)(ii)(A) in the same way on an international investment property?

2- Can anyone recommend a good International Tax professional? Ideally with knowledge in the EU market?

This will be my first RE investment so I am weighing the Pros/Cons of investing in International Real Estate.
