I came across a house being given away for free to be moved and I found a plot of land 1 mile down the street with water and septic. Th house looks to be in fair shape. I called the owner and she said they have plans for the property and the houses are in the way. She’s trying to give them away before demolishing them. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is the process of getting a house moved stressful or difficult? Any ideas on costs of moving in South East Texas?

I’m trying to find the best way to have a tenants rental payments deposited directly from their accounts to mine. I’d like to be able to offer the option of direct deposit. Any suggestions?

@Ken Rishel

Thank you so much for your insight. That has certainly shed some light on my knowledge of Modular Homes. I feel you should write a book about it. I’ve learned more from your response then I have with all the research I’ve done and podcasts I’ve heard, and forums I’ve read.

I was told that some lenders may not refinance trailers house due to the quick depreciation. I’m planning on moving a trailer house onto an acre of land and refinancing it for a cash payout. Would this be a bad idea?

I recently went to apply for a loan and was denied due to late payments on a former property I lost in a divorce. Long story short. She quit making payments and refused to sell. Fortunately I learned about short sales and took that road when she abandoned the house being it was pretty much the only option I had. It has since been sold and the lender received the entire debt in full. Is there any advice on having late payments removed from my credit history?

Is it best to start investing with a business bank account or can I use my personal bank account with multiple checking and savings accounts?

@Frank Hinck

Thank you for your help. I’ve known about refinancing but now I know that I can consolidate four into one commercial. I will definitely get on Instagram and look him up.
