@Robert Gonzalez I suggest you speak to @Kiera Underwood and @Alyssa Dyer.  I work with them as an out of state investor.  They do a great job.  Very knowledgeable and responsive.

@Alain Defrance reach out to @Kiera Underwood and @Alyssa Dyer. I work with them on long distance deals in OKC (I’m in NYC), and they are great.  They’re very knowledgeable about the market, very responsive and fun to work with.  I highly recommend them.

@Rhett Tullis and @Alyssa Dyer it’s been a crazy week with oil going down to $27 barrel and OKC shutting down courts, bars, restaurants and the like.

Does this change your thoughts on any of this?

What have you seen the OKC market do (e.g., are deals dying or being put on hold? Are people waiting and seeing? Are people shifting to section 8?)?

Note that I appreciate we are in uncharted territory, just curious as to your insight as pros in the OKC market.

Adding @Will Fraser and @Cassi Justiz as other active OKC pros in the forums.

I have seen a lot of people talking about lower rates but all the quotes I’m seeing are higher than they were a month ago. I’m curious as to what other investors are seeing in the market.

With the Fed cutting the Fed Funds rate and promising $200 billion in MBS purchases, are lenders and secondary market bond buyers just waiting to price in the rate cut (with the uncertainly driving up current rates)?

@Rhett Tullis I feel for those that are or will be affected, but simply shifting the costs to someone else does not solve the problem and is not right.  I am not shocked to see this in NY, but I am a bit surprised this is happening in OKC.

@Rhett Tullis are they also postponing mortgage payments and carrying costs?  Ridiculous.

This is an excellent chain.  So glad it got started.  Is there any interest in starting an email chain of OKC investors where we can bounce ideas and thoughts off each other, analyze deals, set up calls and generally be a resource for each other? If so, please send me your email and I will start the group.
