What if I did the clean up myself?

How do you justify on how much to give back on the security deposit if they did not clean up when they left

@Theresa Harris

What if the previous owner hasn’t raised the rent in years? I was planning to raise the rent as well as have them cut their own grass. Is that too much at once?

@Alex Olson

It has to be cut every two weeks. The grass is separated for each unit also. I think I will have them cut their own sides. Thank you for the advice!

I recently bought a duplex. The previous owner was cutting the grass for one tenant and had the other tenant cut their own grass. The tenant that was getting their grass cut by the owner is constantly complaining about it being a bad job. What would you do?
