Hello Mike, new to BP and looking for PRO's close to me for teambuilding and encouragement..along with the occasional opportunity from networking.  Hope to make it and look forward to meeting all, thanks.

Since joining, I've now had an opportunity to go back over posts and gain some truly valuable information, and thanks to all who posted...for me, seems SOLO is my best and most flexible option (65, LLC with some active work income, semi-retired and trimming down further with time). Goal is to take some market based Retirement funds and move into multi-family Real Estate for passive income.

Thank you, well stated. Simply, I'm concerned with market IRA funds and would Redirect about 60% of my retirement funds to pursue a multi-family buy and hold opportunity and need a 1-2-3 step map as opposed to the "Guru's" misleading information. Would you recommend a SOLO vs SDIRA setup? C-corp vs LLC?

I too am interested in the Greenville-Spartanburg, SC area as the economy is booming and the growth prospects seem great.  I have been trying to discover a meaningful method to read the areas social structure, economics, etc.  Any advice on prospective zones improving and growing???

Glad you asked these questions...I too, posted with questions. I currently have a sole proprietor LLC thru which I have done franchise ownership and even flipped a mobile home but I am intrigued, as you, with the possibilities however...newby thinks its complex so far.

Armed and dangerous with knowledge from weekend realestate siminar...looking for experience, advice and "costly education" points out there.  Is this the only feasible route to utilize retirement savings?
