Hey @Nick Munn! I am a real estate agent here in Charlotte, so if you ever need anything--I'm here for you. Charlotte is so hot right now, so I am constantly looking on the MLS to help out investors snag the best deal as soon as, or even before, they hit the market. Charlotte and surrounding areas recently implemented a "Coming Soon" category with homes which has been helpful to snag deals before most. :]

I second the mention of Eric Little.  He's an investor and investor-friendly CPA here in Charlotte.

@Matthew Peachey Thank you for the reply!

I guess my main question is--do the towns of Salisbury and Mooresville have growth potential, or are  they growing presently?

I do not want to invest somewhere where it is unknown, when I know Charlotte is growing right now.

Any thoughts here would be helpful.

Good afternoon y'all!

My husband and I are new to this area, so we are still trying to figure out the nice areas, from the areas you don't want to be caught in. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

When doing quick searches, alot of homes in Salisbury, NC as well as Mooresville, NC come up--does anyone have any recommendations or experience with the market trends in these areas? We would like our investment to have some appreciation potential, but we do not know enough about these towns to get a good read on it.

Thanks!

@Alex Franks thank you so much for reaching out and offering your advice! I am actually already a part of the real estate meetups nearby--only been to one so far. I plan on going to more!

Thank you @Jill DeWit! My husband and I were recommended to it by a friend and we have been hooked for a couple of months now.

@Cory Torrella We moved to North Charlotte, closer to Concord. We love it so far! There is still so much we haven't had time to explore just yet. Have you been here for awhile? I have some questions about market trends in surrounding cities.

My name is Holly Brittner and my husband and I recently moved here from Texas. My husband received a job offer in Charlotte, NC and here we are! He has a full-time job, and I left my job as a preschool teacher back in TX. I am currently looking for something better and bigger--and now that we are getting more into REI, becoming a Real Estate Agent is a high possibility.

We are both eager to start investing in real estate in hopes for a brighter future that involves early retirement, and possibly a house on the beach :].
