When I first started learning I wanted nothing to do with SFR but, as I have done more research and learning it seems I was over looking a lot of important details. I have yet to start but it seems my best option is going to be to get a house through VA or FHA and house hack as much as I can until I can get the next few SFR through other ways. I would like to scale up in time but like I said it seems like SFR is the best way to go to start for me.

@Anthoney Hanks Congrats on your first BRRRR. I hope it hasn't been to much of a head ache. When I get some time from work I would love to meet up and talk about it and other properties in Forney and Terrell.

I'm still new and plan on getting my first property at the top of next year to March. I have nothing to add for your list but just wanted to say thanks for providing what you have.

This will be my second post on the intros but I still consider myself a new member. I have been fixing my finances and learning what i can for the last few months and will continue soaking up knowledge for the rest of this year.

I would like to reach out for people east of Dallas around or even people in Dallas. I plan to start hitting up the meet ups, learning and networking as much as I can.

My 90 day goal to get my first property starts Jan 1st. I'm open to any advice to help me minimize the mistakes. I will try to provide value as well for what I can though my skills don't translate to real estate well other than spending some time learning about social media marketing.
