@Travis Cannon around here you'll spend half that on the inspection. If you want to make real estate your career I'd use that money to get your license and start your agent business

Be very diligent about saving at least 10% of all incomes through high school and college and DO NOT TOUCH IT unless investing it. Put it in a Roth IRA for example.
