Is there a plan to implement two-factor authentication?

 Agreed.  The "balance" that most people are talking are not that important.

Pay off your balance in full, in time, and you will be fine.

 Definitely.  In my experience, my "balances" are still reported so it looks like I am carrying a balance on my credit report, but I pay in full each month.

@April Littleton

Sorry, I didn't see your post until now. There are several types of credit scores. FICO is probably the most well known credit score. They use a proprietary scoring model to calculate your FICO score based on information in your consumer (aka credit) report(s) from the three major credit reporting bureaus, Experian, Transunion, or Equifax. There are also non-FICO credit scores that are provided by the previously mentioned bureaus. I've heard that any credit score that is not from FICO is called a FAKO score. Your calculated FAKO score is usually in the ballpark of your actual FICO score. Most lenders will be using your FICO score as a part of their underwriting process.

You definitely need to maintain a good credit history because it affects your FICO score. Your credit score does not guarantee a loan approval or denial, but your score usually affects the interest rate that is charged by the lender for the money that you want to borrow. Higher score = lower interest rate; lower score = higher interest rate.

In addition to lenders, some businesses, such as insurance companies, will use your credit history to rate your policy. Bad credit = higher policy premium; good credit = lower policy premium.

In closing, there are several other types of credit scores that the consumer, you and I, cannot purchase, but they are used by lenders to make decisions when lending money. I can't really go into detail about those scores because I do not enough about them, but know that they exist.

Thank you, @Tom Murray @Daniel Ryu @Marlon Wilson

I moved out of the Costa Mesa last year for a job in Baltimore.  It was a job at an organization that I would be a fool not to take.  I am living in the city now, but the current unrest in the city is making me think about relocating again.  I have not acquired any properties yet because of my recent relocation.

Daniel, do you post videos of your meetups in Korea?

Anyway, I wish you well with your real estate investments.

Hi @Jessica Marie

Welcome to the BP community. Where are you planning on investing? Baltimore City or Baltimore County and surrounding areas? Are you a member of a real estate investment association (REIA)?

Since I've been following this thread for quite some time, I've wondered if a local media outlet has picked up on this story?

Ross Leavitt I don't know of any bluetooth headset that sounds good to the person on the other end of the call. It does not matter how expensive the headset is. It will always sound terrible. I wish I knew why. If you have an iPhone, I have not received complaints, nor have I complained about the headphones with microphone that come with the iPhone. I am not sure what is available for Android or Windows phones.

@Joshua Dorkin I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I've have not had any crashes since then. I'll let you know if it starts crashing again.
