I went to one meetup last year (not SJREI) but it was mainly the organizer pushing his services in wholesaling out of state properties.

If anyone can recommend a good Bay Area organization, I would greatly appreciate it. I will likely join SJREI but look forward to other connections.

Lastly, anyone attending the Essentials of Multifamily & Commercial Investing workshop sponsored by SJREI on 9/10/16 in Sunnyvale? Dave, thank you for your post. I will definitely ask questions, if I don't find the answers in the forum. I am joining the SJREI (San Jose Real Estate Investment) Association. Will hopefully contribute to both organizations as I become more involved.

Greetings, everyone, from Los Altos, California. I am excited to be part of the Bigger Pockets community. While new to REI, I plan on investing in commercial real estate (Northern California, Tahoe, Nevada, Pacific Northwest).

I have enjoyed the BP podcasts and learned much from Brandon's books, among others. I look forward to learn from other BP members. In turn, I will develop skills so I can contribute back.
