Thanks for your help! If say his W2 is $12,950 so will be all deducted and he won't need to file federal return, will he still need to file state return on the $12,950 ?

Lily

Hi, I have a question regarding my 16-year-old has W2 earnings of around $14k, so he will pay $160 for federal tax after standard deduction. But using turbo tax his state tax turns out to be $588, does that sound right... because the state tax is usually lower than federal.  I think something is wrong but couldn't figure out. Any help will be greatly appreciated. This is from Indiana BTW.

@Eric Van Deman Hi Eric, could you PM me with your broker's info -- we just bought a SFH at FL and trying to find a affordable insurance company. Thanks!!

Hillary

@Bobby Shell hope everything goes well with your SFH rental at FL, and we just bought our first SFH rental closing in few weeks, and just realized how difficult to buy insurance at FL, could you please refer your insurance provider to me ?

Thanks!!

Would love to see what fellow investors are thinking in 2021.  We are wanting to buy a long term investment property in the central Florida area. Not sure if still possible to find deals in 2021 at places like Orlando, Tampa, Jax, while it already seemed impossible two years ago. Or just look for other places mentioned in this thread like Ocala, St Petes..

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
