I agree. Working to put ourselves in front of as many opportunities as possible and capitalizing them.  

The most valuable lesson I've learned coming up on 1 year in real estate is learning the difference between finding the next deal versus the next deal finding you. As a real estate agent, I find it's more valuable to build my own personal brand and invest in myself opposed to spending money on Zillow leads or sending out mass mailers. 

What are some lessons or teaching moments you wish you had after your first year in real estate? 

How about from an Investor or Seller's perspective? What happens when market conditions change in the future? 

I noticed this podcast in the news the other day... https://www.bizjournals.com/au... and objectively speaking as a consumer who seeks to find true value, is it worth more to go with a Full-Service Realtor who is incentivized to find the best deals for their customer or; to go with a business model which emphasizes quantity over quality, potentially leaving $ on the table as well as lack of personalization?

I realize this topic has been brought up in the past however, does it really make a difference if a 1/2 bathroom is located on the main floor or basement in a 3 BR townhome? 

*Assuming the basement is finished; does it make a difference in terms of functionality or value to the occupant?
