With market crashes, some are forced to sell their homes & rent.  This is good for you. 

Although I've visited Ireland through the years, I've never lived there.  But Dublin is a thriving & very interesting metropolis.  The Irish are very friendly & the countryside is beautiful.  It's worth a look Fabian!
