Hey Christina, I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. To answer your question, yes there are loan programs that would allow you to both purchase / finish the renovations on the home that are needed AND would allow the use of short term rental income as a means for qualifying long term.

If you're just looking to just get your money back from the cash purchase I would have several options for you. If you're looking to get money back from repairs/improvements than I would have 1 or 2 options for you.
