Hi!  I'm converting my duplex from LTR to MTR this fall.  Looking for cleaning companies that people have used and like.  If you aren't local and do MTR..  can you help me questions you ask new cleaners in this space?  Looking to also compile my questions in addition to actual referrals.  TY in advance!

@Sheena R Roth I'd like to chat!  I'm looking at a couple property mgmt firms for a property I'm closing on the 20th.  Would love to pick your brain and see if you've heard of and have any feedback.

They have a license and are legit.  Not my first rodeo working with a contractor 😀.  And I have already reported them to the attorney general as well as called the dept of labor.  Just looking for some legal referrals to help as I'm not a lawyer and I believe its time.  Thanks!

I also missed the invite.  Bummer!  How did it go?  Any good feedback to share?

Oh heck yes!  It makes life a lot easier!  Look now for someone..  I made the mistake of looking in late august/sept the first yr and all the good/normal people with normal rates were booked.  I've paid by the "time" and "by the month"..  Generally December - March/April and prefer by the month to not have to "approve" them - especially this last yr it was a godsend..  I have used 2 different companies..  Check out Thumbtack and have them come out and give you estimates..  I had them come if we got 1.5 inch's or more and asked to be first on their route as I have residents that go into the office.

I have been working with MayDay construction since last yr on a siding project.. they were adding bogus charges and then doubling cost when product was already onsite, and then came the massive harrassing texts and emails..  and oh yah, the stopping work from Oct - Nov with only wrap on the house and tenants living there. I've contacted the Attorney General and these guys agreed to the work and sent me a final bill and now are not following through and the contracts getting changed to add gag clauses (and sending them to me via the Attorney General) that if I sign mean I cant file with the licensing committee.  The Attorney general contact I'm working with has said they are exhausting their mediation and that I may want to look at getting an attorney since they cant force Mayday to play nice.    I need one anyway for additional investments so figured this may be a good time to find someone.  @Jeff Schemmel.. Any leads??
