listed $112k, appraised $140k, purchase $85k (cash)
budgeted $20k to make it nicely rent-able, re-sale will be in the 5-10+ yr future.

My husband and I are beginning our first adventure with a HUD single family home to rehab and rent.

It was not well-loved and we hope we are up to the challenge ... and that this is the start of more to come! It was pretty painless, considering what I've read that others have endured.

We're in the Upstate of South Carolina ...
