What part of town is your duplex in? 

Hi Kyle, 

The Lawrence area has had an influx of crime over the past years, giving it a rather bad reputation.  However, it is mostly due to the abandoned apartment complex off of 38th and Post Road. The areas near German Church Road are full of nice homes and more of a suburban feel. Also some of the homes in Lawrence are on Geist Resevoir. 

Warren is similiar to Lawrence. The school systems in Lawrence and Warren are incrementally better than the IPS school system making it more appealing to renters with children.
