Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to introduce myself to BP and say how excited I am to discover this awesome resource.
After graduating from Mississippi State with a Business degree in Management of Construction and Land Development and a Minor in Real Estate in 2009, I thought that I graduated with a useless degree due to the economy.
Since then I have obtained my Residential Builders/Residential Remodelers and General Contractors License. Soon I hope to have my Real Estate License as well.
Over the last 5 years I have been sharpening my Real Estate, Financing, and Estimating Skills at my current job. I work with contractors, lenders, and hundreds of different pieces of property on a daily basis. I am the sales manager at a Mobile Home Dealership just south of Jackson. I know what yall are thinking... Mobile Homes are not real estate... Technically you are right, but it is a relatively inexpensive alternative to new construction, but it will rent the same as a site built home if it is in the correct location, and you can move them virtually anywhere at virtually any time (But that is a whole different conversation).
That being said, mobile homes are not what I planned on doing right out of college. While in college I worked for a property management/construction company managing over 600 units and building/remodeling over 70 homes/condos/mixed use properties.
I am always looking for something to partner in with someone if anyone has any potential ideas, from new construction, new development, remodels, rentals, etc.
If anyone has any questions about what I do now, or if you would like to talk more about what I have in mind for the future please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks!
Hayden Canter
