Is there a lien recorded on the property? Did the lawsuit show up on a personal background report? What kind of loan were you applying for?

No liens on the property, it showing up when I apply for funding/ Refis so I'm guessing that's my personal background. I'm applying for fixed 30 yr mortgage refis with investment banks

Hello all

I'm a 6 year investor mainly involved in long term rentals. I have found myself in a place where in a recent tenant of mine is suing for personal injuries. This in return has been affecting my ability to secure a recent refinance I attempted with a renowned bank. I was wondering if there's any advice anyone could give as far as ways to secure funding even with the current suit. Thanks !

Do you have any business partners?

 No business partners. Just me

every single thing Rebecca wrote here is factual as I'm going through the same things currently. Find another company if you can, pls save yourself the trouble. The draw process is the worst, their staff aren't communicative and Yes it's true, they indeed told me multiple times the person handling my loan has left the job. This happened at least 2 times which I also found very odd. If you're a new investor with no experience please stay away as you'll end up losing so much money in the long run with high fees and interest they charge leading to no ROI.
