Hello Raleigh BP members. I'd really like to learn more about the Raleigh market and potentially jump in, but I've been told it's really tough to find decent cashflow. Most of my experience is with buying 2-4 unit Multi-Family and Single Family. My strategy has usually been to buy cash and then cash out refinance.

I'm wondering if there's anyone who'd like to connect and discuss how best to gain a foothold in the area.

Raleigh is a great market to jump into but you certainly will have a hard time find cash flows on the properties. Much like @Chris Carrigan mentioned the Raleigh is expanding and there are areas that it is effecting that are becoming more desirable rental markets. I have came across a few on the outskirts usually 45 minutes out from the city center but let get connected. If you are looking to build a rental portfolio there are some really great markets that are near by.

Over the past year I have been working on preparing my team to fully dive into the real-estate industry. I have the systems in place to allow both my rehab team and funding to scale effectively. I'm looking to get into property flipping, but am running into the issue that I feel that most investors struggle with:  finding the right deal to move forward with. That is the mission I am looking to tackle head on over the next couple of months, while also making the process as scalable as possible. I need to find a consistent pool of deals to analyze for keeping the engine running. I do not have any unrealistic expectations as far as the return on properties, but my question is this: how do more seasoned investors create a market that gravitates around them? I'm working to build relationships with wholesalers and other agents that will help fuel my business. Is there any suggestions/advice that might help me?

There are a ton of deals in your local forum groups

All the best

BP Friends,

I am looking to get in contact with a few wholesalers in the Raleigh and surrounding areas. Looking to buy off market properties that need some work for long term holds. Currently have 3 rentals so have the cash to fund down payment and cash flow to fund holding period. Mainly looking in the south side of Raleigh, Garner and Apex area and can elaborate more on criteria if you have some properties available. Look forward to hearing about the deals out t

Thats all I do is find property in the triangle and surrounding areas. lets connect maybe i might be able to help you
