Sorry I'm trying to decipher what you wrote so if it is not my homestead or I'm not selling it to a family member I cannot do it without a license?

if I have to have a license which one would that be. All I can find is that I would need a PE or CE or both.

Is there a type of license that you need to have to be able to do a owner finance for homes or mobile homes? If so what license is that?

That is why I'm wanting to invest in this area. Just was looking for advice from someone who had possibly already begun the process.

My question is, with the market in West Texas from the oil fields has anyone experience something that would be good advice to share? With that question goes along which is better to look at RV parks, mobile home parks or rental property homes?

Dennis I understand your point, I do not want to be a slumlord I'm just trying to figure out the way to do it cost effective and affordable on both sides.  The goal is to start making money. Thank you for your insite.

I will check with the county rules,  I live about eight miles outside of the city limits. So far I've talked to 5 credit unions, I wasn't sure if I needed a bank or credit unions

I have an acre of land behind my house that is vacant with a well on it. I would like to purchase the acre adjacent to mine as an access and sit 5 single wide homes on my property with a potential of $7000 a month income. What kind of a lender do I talk to to be able to get financing for this?
