Ryan Logsdon
Thanks for the feedback. I will check the USPTO.

The "we buy ugly houses" is s registered TM. I understand the phrase is protected, but just wondering if the "Ugly Houses" phrase cannot be used as well or lawyer is just pushing it over the limit without a valid reason.

Dont know, other BP members has the same problem in the past

I am not looking for legal advise, but some suggestions and feedback

My website hosting company got a letter from "we buy ugly houses" lawyer requesting to remove the word "Ugly Houses" from my website because its infringing their trademark. This phrase is in the sidebar as a bullet points as follows

We buy Houses... Fast
Any Condition - Any Reason
*Pretty Houses
*Ugly Houses
*Little or no Equity
*etc

Just want to know if "Ugly Houses" could be considered a trademark infrigement eventhought is not a trademark. Their trademark is "We buy ugly houses"

Your thoughts

Welcome to BP.

Over the last 6 months I have been reading articles in these website, that has helped me advance my investment career. And just a few days ago I posted my first question and got several answers in just minutes that helped made a good decision.

I also lived in Houston, focusing in the Northwest. Hope to see you at the Rich club workshops

Thanks Jon, for the feedback.

The cash flow calculated was looking at the gross rent - operating Expenses - Debt service.

I have not calculated the cash on cash return yet, but I will do so.

Take care

Hello,

I am doing the analysis on 2 duplexes in same property. total cash flow is $500 a month for all 4 units.

Is that a good conservative cash flow? if not what will be the goal.

I appreciate your comments
