If done right, it's one of the best ways to work around the financial barrier-to-entry to REI. The North Side of Chicago is a fairly challenging market to enter. Everything's really pricey.

I'm reaching out to see if there are any Chicago investors that are active on the North Side. If so, I'd like a small bit of advice: If you were house-hacking on the North Side, what neighborhoods would you search in?
