Your property would need an internet connection.

Hi!

I'm looking to remodel a SFR that includes, demo, installing can lights, flooring, painting, and shower/tub installs.

Do you have any sub-contractors you can refer me to?  The home is in Aurora, Colorado.  Thanks!

This is helpful as I am planning on doing the same thing. HELOC for a downpayment on a new property that I am looking to make my primary. I plan on using the funds to also renovate both properties. Do I need to disclose to my HELOC lender that I will eventually make the new property my primary residence?

Thanks!

This property will become my primary and I will rent out my current home.

What do I need to change, if anything at all, regarding my current property insurance?

I have chosen to not do escrow. Pros and cons of just paying my own property taxes and property insurance?

Do umbrella insurance come from the same property insurance companies?

Thanks!

I am going through the process of getting a HELOC so I can use it for a down payment on my next property. They weren’t kidding when they said it could take up to 30-45 days. I am approaching 30 days already. What are your experiences?

Do you buy the property insurance before you even close on the house? I have obtained some quotes and esurance seems to be the lowest priced insurance. Any recommendations?

He includes several forms to get you started (including a lease and application). Also, BP just released a Colorado-specific packet of rental forms that will have everything you need at a great price (~$50). Good luck!

Thank you, Paul! I check out Brandon Turner's Book on Managing Rental Properties.   Where do I find this Colorado-specific packet of rental forms?

Thanks Andrew! What is a stationary store?
