As my name indicates I am Greg (with 2Gs) I am from Rayne Louisiana, just outside of Lafayette.

I enjoy scuba diving (PADI instructor), motorcycles and wood working.

I am a tow boat Captian and move barges all through the inland waters. I love my job but hate that it takes me away from my family. This is what has brought me to real estate.

I have one rental and a couple pieces of land that need to be developed.

This is the start of my empire.

I am new to the rental property game and have just one house. I am trying to find a tenant and it isn’t stressful it is taking a bit of time.

On the upside I get to head some rather entertaining stories such as;

“How much would the deposit be? I'm trying to move out of the apartment complex I'm at now because they've refused to fix the AC for 6 months. And they just turned out electricity off because we refused to pay rent. I have a daughter and my fiance and I'm trying to find somewhere we can go as soon as possible”

And she was seriously trying to rent my place.

What are are some of funny things that you’ve heard?

@Marilee Schueler

As a parrot owner (eclectus) I can tell you that they will damage your house. They really like the molding around a door frame.
