Thanks Julio. The only way you learn is from people who have been there and done that. I'm glad I've found that place!

Welcome to BP Greg,

Make sure you build teams in the areas you want to invest! I suggest reading this article below.

Thanks Samuel. I'm interested in learning more about all that networking has to offer. I'll definitely take a look.

Welcome to BP Greg! I recommend you check out some other areas that have caught the eyes of many investors recently.

I'm referring to the mid-market is pretty hot and affordable if you're looking to invest out of state. Check out Zillow hottest housing market of 2024: https://www.axios.com/2024/01/10/zillow-ranking-hottest-real…

Thank you Nadeem. I'll definitely take a look!

Hello everyone. I'm just getting started with my journey into real estate. I don't have any properties yet, and I don't have any sort of written plan either. I'm just trying to start with a little knowledge and guidance before I jump in feet first!

My desire is to find some AirBNB properties in my area so friends and family have somewhere to go when they visit, and I can rent them out when family isn't around. I would also like to find at least one place in upstate NY, since that's where I grew up and I still have friends and family up there. It would allow us a place to stay when we visit, and it would allow me to branch out in my real estate owning rather quickly.

It's great to find a place where like minded individuals can get together and share thoughts and ideas and I look forward to hearing from you all! Thank you all ahead of time for all your contributions!

I have been interested in real estate for a while. I'm just getting to a point to where I can consider starting to plan for my first property. I have heard many of the podcasts, read many articles on how to find, fund, and manage deals. My biggest concern starting out is Uncle Sam..... I'm a put your paycheck in the bank guy, not a collect rent, cover the overhead, and pay the taxes type of guy. Where do I start? An LLC? Just a DBA? What info do i need to get? What do I save? Where do I record and store the information for tax purposes?

I know it's a ton of information, but is there some sort of reference guide I can obtain that will guide me to the correct information I need to get started correctly so I don't get into legal trouble down the road?

Thank you all ahead of time!
