I'm currently living on Long Island, NY, and I work in New York City about 2 hour commute each way.  I'm trying to find a new location anywhere in the country because New York is stressful.  I'm trying to find a community where it family orientated and diverse.  My community I'm currently living in doesn't have much family activities unless you have significant extra cash to take my children out somewhere.  Around mid December, I want to travel to look for my new location.  Please, if anyone have any suggestions where there are a lot of family activities with a family orientated neighborhood.

Thank you,

Greg

I want to leave NY, and I am not sure what to do.  On the thanksgiving vacation, I'm going to drive down to Florida, and look for a properties that I can live on one side and rent out the other.  Hopefully is near the water.  I currently own a home in NY, and I will have to sell in order to but because I know the market is fierce.  I would love to speak to a real estate agent that own rental property that can guide me in the right direction.

I'm from Long Island, Suffolk county.  I lived in Rochester for one year in 2010.

I want to leave NY, and I'm looking into other states.  My plan is to find another teaching job, and buy a duplex or a triplex and house hack.  I'm tryin to look for a pro landlord state, and I'm not sure if North and South Carolina are a pro landlord state.  Also, I was looking into Virginia Beach to see if it is a pro landlord state.

Thanks for your help,

Greg

I live in East Yaphank on Long Island, I only know about Rochester, NY because in 2011 I lived there for one year as a school teacher.

I see a bunch of homes for 19-100 thousand in Rochester, NY.  I want to start investing in rental property, but I am very nervous, and I don't know where to start.   Do anyone have any suggestions.
